Privacy Policy

Imprintly is a free tool for turning a guest list into print-ready place cards. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. It applies to theimprintcard.com.

When you type or upload a guest list, that information is processed entirely in your browser to render your previews and generate your PDF. It is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you close the tab, it is gone unless you have saved the PDF yourself.

To protect this, the names you type are masked in our analytics, so your guests' names are not captured.

Most designs are free. For premium designs you can download a free, watermarked PDF, or pay a one-time fee to remove the watermark. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number and payment details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe processes that information under its own privacy policy.

We use a small amount of browser storage for two purposes: analytics (cookies that help us recognise return visits) and remembering which premium designs you have unlocked, so you do not pay twice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

The site is hosted on Vercel, and payments are handled by Stripe. Our analytics provider and these services process data on servers that may be located in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information may be transferred there for these purposes.

Because your guest list is never sent to us, we hold nothing to delete on that front. Analytics data is retained by our analytics provider for a limited period and then automatically removed. Payment records are retained by Stripe as required for accounting and legal reasons.

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

You can opt out of analytics at any time by using your browser's tracking protection or an ad-blocking extension, which prevents our analytics from loading. To make a request about your data, contact us at the address below.

The site is intended for adults planning events and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here.
